Arrogant basketball coach Marco is fired from his job and drives into the back of a police car after a drinking session. Ordered to complete 90 days of community service, he finds himself coaching Los Amigos, a team of basketball players with disabilities. Initially resentful of his imposed role and dismissive of the disabled players’ skills, he gradually gets to know them as individuals and comes to appreciate their resilience and team spirit. Inspired by the story of a real championship-winning team of disabled players in Valencia, this is an uplifting comedy which tackles prejudice head on and was a huge box office hit on its original release in Spain.
